Ruth F. Asher (nee «b»Falcon«/b»), on September 18, 2006, of Tabernacle, formerly of Deptford for over 40 years. Age 84. Beloved wife of the late Horace Robert. Devoted mother of Donna Wallen (Ralph, Jr.), Louise Gambino and Alice Johnson (Wayne). Loving grandmother of Donna Marie and Ralph Wallen, IV, Joseph and Anthony Gambino, Catherine Freeman (Daniel), Bjorn Johnson (Cynthia) and Sarah Johnson.
Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Asher was a member of the Cape Harbor Yacht Club in Cape May. She enjoyed her work as a seamstress, which she did for most of her life.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Asher's memory to Lighthouse Hospice, 4 Executive Campus, Suite 101, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Expressions of sympathy may be e-mailed to
