      «/b»Louis A. Boschen, Jr., 96, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007. He was a longtime
      member of Christ Lutheran Church, a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran, retired as Vice President of
      Signet Bank with 30 years service, a former member of the Optimist Club, the 200 and 300 Dance
      Clubs, and the Hidden Valley Country Club, where he played golf up to the age of 85. He was preceded
      in death by his wife of 57 years, Virginia H. Boschen and a brother, Wellford A. Boschen. Louis is
      survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Boschen and David S. Bowers; one grandchild, Noah Louis
      Boschen Bowers; one brother, Rudy S. Boschen; nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Higgins,
      Mr. and Mrs. Dane Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hoye; a special nephew and his wife, Charles and Denise
      Sherer; and many wonderful friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 at
      Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor David Skole officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial
      Park. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution, please consider Christ Lutheran Church, 2011
      Brandon Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24015 or your favorite charity. The family will receive friends on Thursday
      from 4 to 6 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel, 989-3131.
