      Evelyn R. Tomlin, 99, of Leesburg died Tuesday evening, April 21, 2009, at the Cumberland Manor.

      Born in Leesburg, she was a lifetime resident and the daughter of the late Elbert and Jennie Mason Eldridge, and the wife of the late Linwood Tomlin. Mrs. Tomlin was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church. She was a schoolteacher for 45 years retiring from the Maurice River Township Board of Education. She was a member of the JUG Club.

      Surviving are her daughter, Jean Sawn of Leesburg; grandchildren, James and Cindy Sawn, Bruce Sawn, Barbara and David Stolar, Janet and Ed Collins and Walter Sawn III; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

      Private funeral services will be held for the family at Hoffman Funeral Homes, Leesburg.

      Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.

      Memorial donations may be made to Ranch Hope for Boys, P.O. Box 325, Alloway, NJ 08001-0325, or to a charity of ones choice.
