Margaret Ellen Lowman was born in Farmington, Iowa, Sept. 28, 1857, and died at Bonaparte, June 16, 1911, aged 53 years, 8 months and 19 days.
Most of her life was spent in Bonaparte making her home with her mother until recent years when her mother died. For several years she has been making her home with Mrs. G. W. Brown. She has been afflicted with heart trouble and the excitement caused by the fire at Mrs. Brown's boarding house Friday evening caused her sudden decease.
She leaves a brother, Charles Lowman, and a half brother, Fred Flick.
She was a member of the Baptist church in which the funeral services were held Sunday morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. T. L. Smith. The church was filled.
Unusually beautiful floral offerings were made by members of the clothing factory and other friends, the casket being covered with lilies, carnations, floral pieces, etc.
We desire to thank the friends for their kindness to us in our bereavement.
Charles Lowman
