      James Edward Plaster, 71, died this morning at 2:15 o'clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose Bertie, Muttontown Hollow, Jefferson Township. He was a resident of Jefferson Township practically all his life.

      Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Forsythe of Coal Valley, Mrs. Nettie Bertie of Glassport, Mrs. Sadie Randolph of Clairton, Mrs. Ellen Fragassi of Large and Mrs. Rose Bertie of Jefferson Township; a brother, Benjamin Plaster of Worthington, W. Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Blackford of Cedar Grove, W. Va. and Mrs. Margaret Roebuck of Beckley, W. Va.

      Announcement of funeral services will be made later.
