      Charles T. Hudson, age 71, of Lewes, DE, passed away Monday, December 4, 2006, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Mr. Hudson was born in Lewes on February 16, 1935, son of the late Edward Thornton and Edith (Simpler) Hudson.

      Mr. Hudson spent his entire life in Lewes. He enjoyed horses, especially horse racing and harness racing. Fishing was another favorite pastime. He owned and operated "Lawn Services" for many years.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Ken" Hudson. He is survived by two brothers, Bill Hudson and his wife Edna of Cool Spring, DE and Ed Hudson and his wife Freida of Lewes; a sister, Shirley Friend and her husband Colin of Milton, DE; a sister-in-law, Cecelia Hudson of Rehoboth Beach, DE; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006, 11 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, December 8. Interment will be at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Lewes.

      In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Henlopen Grange No 20, c/o Jane Mitchell, 1019 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
