      «/b»Florence Loeble Carlon, 78, who was active in organizational affairs, died Dec. 29 at the Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg. A former resident of Darby, she lived in Middletown, Pa.

      The widow of William Royer Carlon, she worked for the Insurance Company of North America and was active in affairs of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and in Masonic orders.

      She was a past president of the Rebekah Assembly of Pennsylvania, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Patriarch Militants and a member of Glendale Court 41 of the Order of the Amaranth. She was former
      state chairwoman of the United National Pilgrimage for Youth of Pennsylvania.

      Surviving are her son, Frederick S., and two grandchildren.
