Loeble, 85, of Atglen, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at her home. She was the widow of her late husband, August F. Loeble, who passed away in 1993. Born in Philadelphia, Matilda was the daughter of the late William and Matilda Holland Burkeitt. She graduated from the Philadelphia High School and attended the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Parkesburg. She is survived by her three children, Katherine M. Root of Atglen, Adelaide T., wife of Curtis Devine of Yuma, Ariz., and Mary Holman of New Holland; one brother, James Burkeitt of Sewell, N.J.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, March 19, 11 a.m., at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, 603 W. Second Ave., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held Monday at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in Matilda's name to the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
