      Services will be held at 2 PM tomorrow in Arizona funeral home, 376 N. 3rd St. The Rev. George Bearden will officiate. Entombment in Greenwood mausoleum will follow.

      Born in Ishpeming, she can, Mr. Pierce came here 33 years ago. Before that he resided at Butte, Montana, where he worked for State Sen. William Clark. He retired 11 years ago.

      Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Ida; a daughter, Gladys Kasten Smith of Long Island, New York; a grandson and two great grandsons.

      Friends may call today between 12 noon and 9 PM at the mortuary."
