Mrs. Christine Diane Elefson Long, 43, of Myersville, died Saturday, July 5, at home. She was the wife of Stephen E. Long.
Born Jan 20, 1954, in Spokane, Wash., she was the daughter of Elbert L. and Betty M. Blair Elefson of Martinsburg, W.Va.
Mrs. Long was a lifetime member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christof Latter Day Saints, Frederick. She devoted her life to her children, family and home.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, Gregory Joseph Long and Jennifer Christine Long, both at home; three sisters, Sharon E. Worgun of Olympia, Wash., Deborah J. Kienle of Vancouver, Wash., and Kathryn L. Hawkins of Poolesville; her father- and mother-in-law, William J. and Margaret Pryor Long of Rockville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Long was preceded in death by a brother, E. Keith Elefson.
The family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont one hour prior to services at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Elder Marvin L. Tonks will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
