      Mrs. Sarah Jane Randolph, 71, of 614 Indiana Ave., Glassport, died today at home.

      She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Glassport; Daughters of America, Clairton Council 111; Marguerite M. Oakley Rebekah Lodge 543 of Elizabeth; Dames of Malta, Wilson Lodge 202 of Clairton; Ladies Auxiliary to the Junior Order of United America Mechanics of Glassport; and Order of the Eastern Star, Clairton Chapter 316.

      Friends will be received today in Elva K. Whetsel Funeral Home, Clairton, where the Rev. William H. Popa will conduct services Friday. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.

      Born in Woodville, Feb. 15, 1899, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Mary Jane Hitchman Plaster.

      Survivors include her husband, James Randolph; daughters, Mrs. Irene Lehner of Clairton, Mrs. Evelyn Sorg of Greensburg, Mrs. Grace Smith of Jefferson, Mrs. Betsy Pearrell of Oakland, Mrs. LaRue Spudy of Irwin, Mrs. Louella Boczar of McKeesport, Mrs. Lavina Kerklo of Liberty and Mrs. Jacqueline Lewis of Elrama; sons, William E. of Enon Valley, James A. of Canton, O., Clyde I. of Dravosburg, Richard G. of Milford, Conn., Carl A. of Bridgeport, Conn., and Jack D. of Devon, Conn.; 34 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Rose McDermott of Duquesne and Mrs. Ellen Fragassi of Philadelphia.
