Joe Lehner, 54, of 28-F Soltis Drive, Clairton, died yesterday in McKeesport Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Clairton and was employed as a treating operator at the Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Corp. in Clairton.
Mr. Lehner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Clairton; Stephen Bayard Lodge 526, F&AM; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Al-O-Mon Forest 138; and American Legion, Daniel Keffer Post 75, of Clairton.
Born Feb. 3, 1913, in Clairton, Mr. Lehner was a son of the late Bennie and Nellie Holman Lehner. He is survived by his wife, Irene Randolph Lehner; daughters Joelle and Joanne at home; a brother Emmett Lehner of Masury, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Jean Curry of Irwin.
Services will be held Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church of Clairton, the Rev. Dr. David Kim officiating. Friends will be received today and tomorrow at the Fullerton and Matz Funeral Home, Clairton. Burial will take place in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
