DONALD L. ANDREW, 72, of Turnersville, died Tuesday at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals/Washington
Township Division.
Mr. Andrew was the retired secretary/treasurer for Tacor Inc. in Philadelphia. He belonged to the Pitman United Methodist Church. He served as treasurer for the Gloucester County Historical Society and was a member of the Washington Township Rotary Club.
A World War II Army veteran, he served in the Pacific Theater with the 277th Port Co. 503 Battalion in the Phillipines, New Guinea and Japan. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Pitman Memorial Post 6469 and the American Legion Post in Pitman. Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Philadelphia and as a youth summered in Pitman. He lived in Turnersville for the last 28 years.
Survivors: his wife, Dorothy M. Saylor Andrew; a son, Ross L. of Parsippany; a daughter, Roberta L. Hewitt of Westborough, Mass.; six grandchildren, and a sister, Marjorie A. Pownall of Pitman.
Services: viewing, 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. tomorrow, Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman;
funeral, 10 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home; burial, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa.
